Director of Operations · GCC Leader · SaaS Business Operations

Twelve years building the companies other people run.

I set up and run Global Capability Centers in India for US headquartered SaaS and technology companies, and I own the functions that decide whether they survive: HR, recruitment, operations, legal, compliance, finance and tax.

How I run the programme

India centers rarely fail on talent. They fail in the stretch between the decision and the first delivery, where entity, hiring, compliance and governance all have to land together. I have run that stretch inside a live US to India GCC, as one accountable programme rather than six vendors reporting separately.

01
Entity and site
Structure, registrations, state approvals, lease and fit out, ready for headcount.
02
Leadership hiring
The first fifteen hires set the culture. I recruit them personally, then build the engine under them.
03
Operating rhythm
Overlap hours with the parent, governance cadence, escalation paths and month end close that holds.
04
Management operations
The center run day to day: governance, compliance calendar and delivery cadence held steady by your own leadership.
What I take ownership of

Seven functions, one person accountable for how they fit together.

Full capability
01
Human Resources
Policy, structure, compensation, employee relations and the culture that keeps people past year two.
02
Recruitment
Leadership and volume hiring across Indian metros and tier 2 cities, on a real scorecard.
03
Operations
Process design, SLA governance, capacity planning and the daily rhythm that turns a plan into output.
04
Legal
Contracts, vendor and client agreements, employment documentation and dispute containment.
05
Compliance
Labour codes, PF, ESI, professional tax and state registrations, on a calendar that never slips.
06
Finance
Budgets, cost per head, month and quarter end close, MIS your board can read without a translator.
07
Taxation
Direct and indirect tax, transfer pricing exposure and clean assessments, run with your auditors.
Together
One line of accountability
These functions fail at the seams between them. I hold the seams.
